For Women with Disabilities (WWDs) in Kenya, reliance on climate-sensitive agriculture can be a precarious existence. Climate shocks threaten both their livelihoods and their independence. With the HARE Kenya project, we offer an innovative, market-driven pathway to resilience. By moving beyond traditional farming and integrating WWDs into the high-value avocado oil value chain, we are creating stable, diversified income streams that are less vulnerable to unpredictable weather.
