Gender, Climate Change and Nutrition Integration Initiative (GCAN)

The triple threat of climate change, gender inequality, and poor nutrition is a vicious cycle, particularly in vulnerable communities. Climate shocks disrupt agriculture, disproportionately affecting women, who often manage food security and household nutrition. In this project, we tackle this head-on by championing a holistic approach. We believe that effective climate action must simultaneously empower women and safeguard the health and nutritional well-being of families.
